JRNOLA is always looking for working and retired media mentors to work with our student journalists. Writers, photographers, on air talent, PR professionals, editors, graphic designers, web publishers, or any local professional media interested in mentoring our local high school participants are strongly encouraged to contact our staff. Mentors can serve onsite at events assisting students with interviews and photo opportunities, serve as guest speakers, create in studio opportunities for students, help publish finished works, recruit other mentors, provide online editorial assistance, or work with our students in the JRNOLA newsroom on weekdays or weekends. To learn more about all the ways you or your media outlet can volunteer or participate, while paying your craft forward, please email info@jrnola.org or fill out the interest form located HERE.
