The product of a partnership between BeLoud Studios and the New Orleans Junior Journalism Program, 4tmw.FM is a podcast network structured to empower young adults to embrace their imaginations, perspectives, and themselves through oral storytelling. The podcast network’s mission is to bypass the “gatekeepers” of recorded narratives and break the cycle of erasure in the media. We’re looking for youth writers, poets, activists, and any students that have something to get off their chests.
Workshop outcomes:
A primer course on the importance of storytelling
Lectures on poetry, education, and community organizing
Hands-on audio recording & editing instruction
Audio submissions aired on Spotify and WHIV 102.3 radio
