Star quarterback of the University of Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns, Anthony Jennings leading the New Orleans Bowl Saturday December 17, 2016. Being a graduate student and a quarterback could be tough work but, Anthony makes it happen. Having had his third multi-passing touchdown game of the season. This will his first time leading the Ragin’ Cajuns in a Bowl game in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. When asked to describe Anthony in one word, his response was ‘serious’ “He cares about the work he does and puts forward”. This season Jennings is averaging 10 carries per game and is one of the six Cajuns to post 100- yards on the ground . He is second on the squad with 323 rushing yards. Jennings is the first Louisiana quarterback to rush for three touchdowns in a game since 2009 with his performance at Georgia rushing 93 yards and three scores on 16 carries.
From the way that he carried himself, he displayed a excited and focused attitude on how he wants Saturday to look. Anthony is a serious and a great leader. He also shows a great affection for his team. His advice for his younger teammates is, “make sure you always stay coached, listening to coach is significant in your success”.
